Allfinanz and Munich Re: an Australian first with TOWER
Allfinanz and MunichRe have combined to provide a leading automatic underwriting and rules system. The system, now being piloted by TOWER Australia Group Ltd uses a technology-based automatic underwriting system supplied by Allfinanz and enabled with a rules set prepared by Munich Re.
A new automated underwriting solution developed for New Ireland Assurance by Allfinanz gives brokers a flexible electronic capability for submitting life protection applications. Part of this solution ensures that prospective customers are asked the right questions while allowing automation to accept applications immediately.
Allfinanz and Munich Re have announced that they have concluded a global marketing and co-operation agreement with a view to providing protection insurers with leading edge technology and underwriting rules that will help them process their new business more efficiently.

Metropolitan Life changes the rules and sees early benefits
Metropolitan's Retail Enhancement Initiative (REI) was undertaken to radically redesign its business processes with the enrolment of a superior underwriting technology supplied by its technology partner Allfinanz. Effectively transmuting their business to rule-based tele-underwriting, they remain the first traditional life insurer in the world to move its primary distribution to telephone processing.
